What program(s) do you use to make your covers?

I use a website called Photopea for both illustrated and photoshopped covers. Occasionally, if there is something I need that I can't find a stock image for, I will also use Blender to make it.

Do you make book covers in languages other than English?

As long as you can get all the required information to me in English, yes, I do! I unfortunately only speak English and I don't trust translation programs completely.

By requesting a cover or graphic from Undead Designs, the client accepts these terms and conditions. The information entered by the client is a legally binding signature of everything in this agreement.Last updated: January 7th 2026

PAYMENT & PRICING

Payment will only be accepted through PayPal.Prices are based on the overall complexity of the design, how many hours it will take Undead Designs to complete the project, and the price of the resources (stock images, fonts, etc.) needed.If the project is more than £50 GBP, a down payment of 50% of the total cost will be required up front before Undead Designs will start working. The other 50% will be required at the end of the project so the client can receive the final files. If the project is less than £50 GBP, the client will only be required to pay in full at the end to receive the final files.

REFUNDS

CUSTOM BOOK COVER
Any down payment will be refunded fully (100%) if Undead Designs is yet to start the project.
Any down payment will not be refunded (0%) if Undead Designs has started the project.
Once a project has been fully completed and delivered, where the client has received all the final files and paid in full, no refunds will be given.PREMADE BOOK COVERS
Any payment (both down payment and full) will be fully refunded (100%) if the client has yet to receive any final, unwatermarked files. The premade will then be fully restored for it to be sold to another client.
If the client has received the final, unwatermarked files, no refund (0%) will be given.CANCELLATION
If Undead Designs cancels your project for any reason, the client will be fully refunded (100%) anything they have paid.

IMAGES

All covers are created with paid images, free for commercial-use images, or are completely drawn. These materials are licensed for up to 300,000 digital or physical print copies. If an extended license is needed, the client must let Undead Designs know at the time of purchase and an additional fee will apply based on the prices of the resources.No Artificial Intelligence is used in the creation of any Undead Designs project.

AI INFORMATION

No Artificial Intelligence is used in the creation of any Undead Designs project.Undead Designs does not support the use of generative Artificial Intelligence (gAI). Undead Designs reserves the right to deny requests for books that were completely or partially written using gAI, or from clients who proudly promote using gAI. If a request is submitted, it will be promptly cancelled. If the client has paid anything, they will be fully refunded (100%).Uploading or feeding any Undead Designs projects into any Artificial Intelligence platform (including but not limited to: ChatGPT, DALL-E, Midjourney, Firefly, and anything similar) is strictly prohibited. Doing so constitues as art theft and Undead Designs reserves the right to take lawful action against their property if such an unauthorised use occurs.

CREATION ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

BOOK COVERS
The client agrees to add the following to any form of e-book, print copy, audiobook, or any other form of content to acknowledge Undead Designs as the creator of the work: Cover Design by Undead Designs.Claiming any cover or art designed by Undead Designs is not allowed. Any uncredited redistribution shall be treated as theft.

ALTERATIONS

Any sort of alterations to a project made by Undead Designs without permission is not allowed. Modifications include removing or adding text, changing colours, changing dimensions, removing a watermark, etc. Any needed changes will only be made by Undead Designs.

REVISIONS

FREE OF CHARGE REVISIONS:
- Dimension changes / resizing for different platforms or printing sizes.
- Text changes (author name, subtitles, blurbs, etc.).
- Small changes such as colour alterations and text placement.These can be requested at any time by contacting Undead Designs.PAID REVISIONS
Paid revisions include changes that will alter the overall original design and can only be made while the request is in process. These include changing stock images used, redrawing a design, adding more stock images, etc. After a project is complete, these revisions will not be accepted.

PROOFING

The client must test and try proofing of printing. At no time will Undead Designs be held financially or legally responsible for any problems, costs, fees, or expenses incurred by the client as a result of using the book cover design. Undead Designs is not liable for incidental, indirect, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages of any kind, including loss of revenues or profits, loss of business reputation, or loss of data, in any way related to our services. Undead Designs is not responsible for any claim, loss, or injury based on errors or any other inaccuracies appearing on our site or in our clients' written documents, including, without limitation, as a result of any breach in the terms and conditions of this agreement.

PORTFOLIO

Any project made by Undead Designs may be added to the designer's portfolio (Instagram, Facebook, Website, etc.). If the client would like the cover to not be shown until a certain date, this will need to be mentioned in the requesting process.

CONFIDENTIALITY

All information shared by the client is confidential and will not be used for any purpose other than the creation of the items requested. It will not be shared with any third party.
